Filtering speed
Filtering speed refers to airflow speed passing the surface of a certain absorption material. Absorption rate is high if filtering speed is low and contact of air and active carbon is long. When using active carbon filters , customers shall reasonably select filtering speed ( filtering air quantity )
Service life
As times goes on,the absorption rate of active carbon will reduce continuously and the filter shall be replaced when harmful gases passing through the filter reaches the maximum allowable value.The service life of this kind of filter is related with many factors such as density of pollutants,temperature,humidity,volume of filtered wind and amount of active carbons.the amount of active carbons determines the length of service life of filters when other factors are fixed.
Replacement of filters
One can judge whether or not a filter shall be replaced by monitoring changes of pollutant density before and after the filtering.Up till now , there is no simple and practical monitoring method in our country , so customers shall judge service life of active carbon filters according to total time of use or experience .
